Manhattan / NYCAndrew is from Brooklyn , NYC and has been thriving in the streets since he moved there in 2007. A skateboarder; artist; master chef; style beast; and longtime BOPPO! affiliate - take a peek at his latest sketches and ideas. With one of the best laughs in the game; Andrew can turn a cloudy day into a sunny one.
What is your favorite medium to work in?
I predominately work in pen and ink. It is really versatile. Throw some pens and a sketch pad in the backpack and hit the streets. I like to do quick minimal blind contour sketches of random people around the city. I feel this creates a beautiful composition. I also like to create pieces from stream of consciousness. Straight off the dome.
What sparks inspiration?
Music that I am into at that moment in time; my surroundings; whether it be a random person on the train, or people and friends that are a part of my life, hardships, etc. And of course, shredding.

Who is the worst skateboard artist?
Ramiro Davaro-Comas, He’s a scumbag and sucks at skating. Just playing, He’s my homie and works harder then anyone I know. I can’t really hate on anyone trying to do their thing and push their work. More power to them.
Best way to spend $10 in NYC?
Half cup from MUD on E9th between 1st and 2nd . Babe Baristas, killer coffee. It’s a no-brainer. Dumplings and sesame pancakes from Vanessa’s Dumpling on Broome and Eldridge. The Bed Sty Special from Brooklyn Finest
